HOLY SMOKES!!! -- Celtics -- 2008 NBA Champions!!!!! 131 - 92 W/Updates

Tue Jun 17, 2008 at 08:42:18 PM PDT

Yes, I am a diehard Boston fan.  I was in high school the last time the C's won it all.  Len Bias died.  Reggie Lewis died.  It's been a long time.

We can celebrate again....

Red sleeps tonight.

........................................................................

The 2008 Boston Celtics are a great group of players to watch and to root for.

This was truly an unbelievable year to watch this team.  The New Big Three.

Not ready to reflect on Russert yet. w/Update

Mon Jun 16, 2008 at 08:02:39 AM PDT

Now might not be the best time to give or get an honest assessment of Tim Russert and his career.

There will be a time when the dust has cleared, and some of us who are mourning, yes mourning, will be able to respond more objectively.  Right now, we are each dealing in our own way.  I have dealt with death many many times at so many different levels.  Russert's death has hit me pretty hard.  I am not even sure why, it just has.  I am truly saddened by his loss.

Raw deal for David Gregory

Wed May 28, 2008 at 08:59:06 PM PDT

There is a misinformed "piling on" today.  Some of the diaries are killing David Gregory.  Yes, he is part of the MSM, but he stood out when it counted.  HE WAS NOT LIKE THE REST OF THEM.

Clinton supporters, we feel your pain...please don't make it worse.

Tue May 27, 2008 at 07:32:31 AM PDT

I am struggling to believe that the most loyal Clinton supporters have really thought through their promises to pull the lever for John Mccain.

John McCain appears more and more to be beholden to special interests and lobbyists and big money concerns...far from the Maverick label that he is trying so desperately to hold on to.

Are You a "Sensitive Progressive?": A Cheney Joke in Response to Huckleberry

Sat May 17, 2008 at 04:18:27 PM PDT

Let's come up with a response to Huckabee.  Maybe there is a better way to hit back at these guys that will have a better political result for BO.  As we all know, this is politics, and we can't be too thin skinned regarding the words the other side use.  Remember, sticks and stones may break your bones, but words will never hurt you.  I agree with that, but the words that have been used over the last two elections have been killing us!

Let's help Obama win some points.
